Anesthesia: Nasal ETT, General. Suture ETT to septum (see video how to suture ETT)
Patient position: Supine
Bed position: 90°
DVT ppx: Compression boots on - working BEFORE induction of anesthesia
Side Table: See below to suture nasal ETT
Side table set up to suture nasal ETT prior to prep/drape
Head drape similar to jaw surgery (see video jaw head drape)
Lights: Surgical headlamp for surgeon
Power: Yes, Rem B w/ reciprocating saw + drill
Bovie Settings: Teflon guarded, setting 30/30
Preinjection: 10 mL lidocaine 1/100 K epinephrine
Prep: Betadine on skin, chlorhexidine in mouth
Drapes: 4 towels w/ split sheet
Instrument sets: Genioplasty set

Hypodermic needles: 27gauge
Syringes: 10 mL
Drains: none
Suture: 2-0 monocryl, 4-0 chromic
Anesthesia on field: 10 mL 1% lidocaine 1-100 K epinephrine
Dressing: Ask about elastoplast dressing w/ benzoin

Admission status: SDS

Post-op wound care: Full liquid diet 2 wks
Post-op activity restrictions: No strenuous activity for 2 wks
