DVT ppx: Compression boots on - working BEFORE induction of anesthesia

Preinjection: 1% lido w 1/100k epinephrine
Prep: Chloraprep
Drapes: From umbilicus down have prepped sterilely
Instrument sets: Abdominoplasty or breast reduction set
Admission status: SDS
Estimated time: 2 hrs

Post-op wound care: Avoid all water except shower for 14 days, okay to shower next AM
Post-op activity restrictions: No heavy activity for 3 wks
Follow up: 1 wk
